Last week was another big milestone. On her 6 week birthday, we decided to move her into her nursery to sleep. We wanted to do this sooner, but her room stays colder than the rest of the house, so we had to wait until the weather warmed up. Here she is in her ducky pajamas ready for her first night in her big girl bed. You can also see her swaddle blanket. This has been a lifesaver. The second she is wrapped up in that she becomes so calm and content. I dread the day she grows too big for it. She is already getting pretty good at getting her arms out!
As you can see, we're doing great! We try to get out of the house for something every day. We go to the park, meet friends for lunch, and go to visit Mimi and Grandma a lot. We managed our first grocery shopping trip the other day. I realized I will never be able to "run to the store and get a few things." Even the smallest errands become complicated with a little one! Even so, I am truly enjoying my time home with my girl. I am over half way through my maternity leave, and I don't know what I'm going to do when I have to leave her. We are just having too much fun!
