Emery turned three months old yesterday! Time is going by so quickly. It is so fun to watch her grow and change every day. At three months, she weighs somewhere between 14 and 15 pounds. I am not sure of her exact weight because we don't have a doctor's appointment this month. She feeds five times a day and sleeps 11-12 hours straight through at night. I have been reminded many times how lucky I am for this!
She hit a major milestone this past week...she started rolling over! The first time was from her stomach to her back. We were having tummy time, and I ran into the other room for literally 30 seconds. When I came back, she had rolled to her back. Of course I was sick that I missed it! She has also rolled from her back to her tummy several times since then. Other milestones this month...laughing out loud, making lots of new noises, and sitting in her Bumbo chair.
At three months, she loves to play on her ocean themed floor mat. She loves to stare at the whale and kick the sides to make everything shake. She likes her pack and play and her swing too. She only likes tummy time if she is propped up on her Boppy. Otherwise she starts throwing a fit after a minute or two. She likes to take swings at her toy bar that attaches to her car seat. Occasionally she manages to grab onto part of it, but I'm pretty sure it's purely out of luck. She is still completely mesmerized by Zac's fish tank. That is one of the few things that will calm her when she is upset.
She rarely cries unless she is hungry or really tired. Unfortunately, she doesn't give very many warning signals that she is hungry. One minute, she is perfectly happy playing, and the next she is screaming uncontrollably until she is fed. I honestly can't complain though. Even her crying is pretty cute!
