Five Months

So, my plan was to take a cute picture of Emery every month in her chair so I'd have a point of reference to see how much she's grown. My plan was foiled. She is all over the place when I try to sit her down now! Here is a summary of our photo session disaster.

The best I got...

At 5 months, she is a bundle of joy! We've got her on a great schedule now. Up at 7:00, 30 minute nap at 9:00, rice cereal at 10:00, bottle at 11:30, nap from 1:00 to 3:00ish, bottle at 3:30, bottle at 7:00, bed at 7:30.

She is very close to sitting up on her own. She can lean forward and prop herself up on her arms. I also think she's going to be pulling up on all fours soon! She still rolls mostly from her back to her stomach, but she is rolling from her stomach to back more now, too. She babbles constantly, laughs hysterically watching the dogs play, and smiles non-stop. Her new favorite toy is her jumper, but she'll also take anything she can put into her mouth, including her feet! She wants to hold her bottles at feedings now, but she twists it while she's holding it and makes huge messes. Our feeding times have doubled because she's so distracted by everything around her now. It's pretty funny to watch, unless we're in a hurry!

I'm sure this next month will fly by as we count down to starting fruits and vegetables. I can't wait!
