Thomson Family: Four Months of Fun!

I am a little late posting about Emery's four month check. She is growing by leaps and bounds! She weighed in at 16 pounds, 15 ounces and 25.39 inches. That puts her in the 90-95th percentile for height and above 95th percentile for weight! The doctor said she is doing great!Emery is so much fun! She is continually amazing me how quickly she grows and changes. She is starting to look more like a little girl and less like a baby. Her eyes look like they are going to stay blue, and she has a head full of hair that is turning out to be much lighter than when she was born. I really don't see much of me in her at all. She basically looks like a mini version of Zac!
We tried rice cereal for the first time today, and she was not a fan! We got some funny pictures and video out of it, though. Maybe we will try again in a few days. The doctor said she doesn't really need it until 6 months, so if she's not ready, it's no big deal.
Now that school is out, I have made it my goal to get her on a nap schedule. I have not worried about scheduling her naps before. I do try to make sure that she gets up at the same time and goes to bed at the same time every night. She usually goes to bed between 7:30 and 8:00, and I wake her up in the morning between 7:00 and 7:30. I think because she sleeps so much at night, she's not much of a napper. Sometimes the best I can get out of her is a few 15 minute cat naps. I guess I can't complain since she sleeps through the night. :)
